Windsock

What You’ll Need:

• large-eye needle
• yarn
• old sock
• fabric scraps
• clean, frozen-juice can
• stapler
• crepe paper
• tape

How to Make It:

1. Use a large-eye needle to thread yarn through the toe of an old sock. Tie the yarn ends together for a hanger.

2. Stuff the foot of the sock with fabric scraps.

3. Clean a frozen-juice can (cardboard, except for the base). Slide it base first into the ankle of the sock. Fold the edge of the sock into the can. Staple it in place around the edge.

4. For streamers, cut strips of crepe paper. Tape them inside the can. Tape on crepe-paper bands as decorations.
